DoMore24
Do More 24 is a Statewide 24-hour day of giving that begins on March 2nd at 6 PM. This event is designed to help nonprofits raise funds and engage new donors. Every organization that raises $5 or more on Do More 24 Delaware will receive matching dollars on a proportionate basis from the applicable stretch pool, thanks to Spur Impact, United Way of Delaware and other community supporters. In addition to the stretch pool funds, there will be other cash and non-cash prizes awarded throughout the day. YWCA’s 19th Annual Celebration Breakfast
Join us for a memorable morning as we acknowledge the widespread impact of YWCA programs that work to eliminate racism and empower women. This year’s theme is Inspiring Hope, Encouraging Change in honor of all our advocates who activate our mission and encourage positive change throughout our state and all our clients who have triumphed over extraordinary obstacles with the support of YW’s programs, services and advocacy.
Racial Justice Challenge
The YWCA Racial Justice Challenge is designed to create dedicated time and space to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership. The Challenge works to foster personal reflection, encourage social responsibility and motivate participants to identify and act on ways to dismantle racism and other forms of discrimination throughout our communities.
